Great idea. We can progress in buildings, programs, technology, etc., but we must stay focused. God will provide with funds and wisdom on how to handle the funds and plans. We must always talk to God first about everything. Remember David praying to God about whether to attack the Philistines? God told David yes the first time. He told David no the second time. I want to always remember that. Most people, including me, would have taken the first yes and kept going. We have to talk to God about every step and direction. He moves in steps because that is using faith. As large churches form, they must remember to rely on God, not themselves.

When we strive to follow the commandments here, we live in the fruits of the Spirit. God tells us in Proverbs 2:3-11 that he will give us wisdom through his Spirit. We must eat and drink or hunger and thurst after God. He is there. He will satisfy us. He will give us what we need to function in every area of our lives and the ability to bless others. We are crazy not to ask for the Holy Spirit to come to us.

As John Piper says, “God’s glory is our joy.” God takes care of us to find His Glory and our joy to be synonymous. Material things do not matter when we recognize ALL of the JOY everywhere. It is God’s Glory. God’s Glory is our joy. Wow! How simple and how nice. By recognizing this, living it, we are showing one simple way to share God through Jesus.
