KNOW GOD PERSONALLY Â
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.- Romans 5:8 That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. - 2 Corinthians 5:19 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not works, so that no one can boast. -Ephesians 2:8       God presented His Son as a gift to account for our short fallings so that we may know Him. But, it is up to YOU to accept that gift. God does not promise an easier life, but He does promise a more fulfilling life. Recognize you are a sinner. You cannot see your need for Christ's sacrifice until you see why He had to die for you. Admit that you cannot save yourself. You cannot save yourself by being good, baptized or confirmed. Why would Christ's sacrifice be needed if you did? Realize that your sins were laid on Jesus. When Christ died on the cross, He took your sins and the sins of the rest of the world upon Himself. 1 Peter 2:24 Believe that Christ and Christ alone can save you. "I am the way: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14:6. No other person, religion deed or doctrine can save you -- Only Jesus. Receive Jesus Christ as your own personal savior. There are no other conditions or a better time to start your relationship with God. God takes everyone just as they are. You need only accept His Son as your personal Savior. Now take a few moments in prayer to tell God that you invite His son into your life as your Lord and Savior. Thank Him for the gift of His Son who sacrificed His life for you upon the cross to account for your sins, and in return you willingly offer Him your life and abilities. Now what? If possible tell a Christian friend or us , about your decision. Find a local church and get involved. Make a public declaration of your faith in Jesus, and be baptized as a sign of obedience to God.   |
